Re-Introductions

VIOLET RIDE is an as-able series of essays that serves the purpose of gushing over, swooning over, and writing love letters about art. Nothing more, nothing less.

An intentionally simple concept born out of a relentless hobby, Violet Ride aims to spotlight artists of the now and cover techniques, themes, and meaning behind what makes these artists tick…and why their art is just so damn good. This won't be limited to artists, however! Art books, art practice-centered self care, and more have potential for being thrown into this delicious mix.

The color violet inspires unconditional and selfless love, devoid of ego, encouraging sensitivity and compassion….Violet encourages creative pursuits and seeks inspiration and originality through its creative endeavors. It likes to be unique, individual and independent, not one of the crowd. Artists, musicians, writers, poets and psychics are all inspired by violet and its magic and mystery. - www.empower-yourself-with-color-psychology.com (cheesy but great, right?)

Maybe you’re looking for the next artist to add to your collection. Maybe you want to add to your social media feed. Maybe you just need to liven up your email inbox. Whatever your tastes, here’s hoping Violet Ride can help you on your journey. And maybe, you’ll want to write a love letter about your favorite art, too.

Enjoy Violet Ride? Consider leaving a tip. Any support helps me continue this work, as well as develop other projects in the future!
